Programme Description

This programme aims to provide students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to carry out functional activities in food and beverage, housekeeping, front office and commercial kitchens at an operative level. This programme will facilitate progression, with appropriate subsequent experience, to supervisory level in hospitality organizations such as hotels, restaurants, bistros, convention centers, resorts and catering organizations.

Entry Requirement :

SPM with 3 credits or its equivalent

Programme Outcomes:

Students will be :

  • equipped with various operational and management skills that are vital in the hotel management industry;
  • able to supervise operations in every department in hotel industry;
  • able to implement various functions in the hospitality industry;
  • able to communicate effectively with subordinates, clients and superior officers;
  • able to develop individual desire for self-improvement through life-long learning.
