Programme Description

The Diploma in Early Childhood Education programmes prepares you to work in child care settings with young children. The aim of the programme is to provide students with a solid foundation in theory and practice of early childhood education. The diploma programme combines theory and practice to produce students who is qualified to find work in a preschool and child education centers or care facility.

Entry Requirement :

SPM with 3 credits or its equivalent

Programme Outcomes:

Students will be able:

• to contribute to the continuous growth in the early childhood education industry through tactical and strategic planning;

• to equipped with various operational and management skills in administrating an preschool;

• to have creative thinking skills and sound knowledge in the field of early childhood education;

• to communicate effectively with subordinates, children and the administration staffs of the preschool;

• to exercise the highest standards in the aspect of health, safety and ethics in managing the preschool;
  
  
• to develop individual desire for self-improvement through life-long learning.
